"You Think I Owe You...What?"

This month at For the Girls, I'm talking about dating disasters...like those times when a date seems to think spending money on a good time means he might get much more than a little kiss at the door...

"The one that really got to me was Andrew. Not his real name, of course – I’m changing his name to protect the undeniably guilty, even though he probably doesn’t deserve it. That was Andrew’s problem, really. He thought he deserved much more than he got, but we’ll get to that in a minute..."

Visit For the Girls to read my dish about dating disasters: the bad, the worse, and the unspeakable.

"Indiana Jones, with Camera"

"Indiana Jones, with Camera" is a story I considered not publishing at all. Sometimes a story can be so intensely personal, cut so close to your true emotions, that you have to take a long pause before deciding to send it out there into the world where anybody can read it.

I've written an erotic memoir, and I had little problem putting that out there for the world to read. So why is "Indiana Jones, with Camera" different?

Honestly, I have no idea.

"Indiana Jones, with Camera" is now available to read, free of charge, at The Erotic Woman. I hope you enjoy the story.

(By the way...the photograph above is by Roger Fenton, from 1855. The title is "The Valley of the Shadow of Death." Roger Fenton was one of the first war photographers.)

Country Music's Biggest Night!

It's Country Music's Biggest Night! The CMA Awards will happen tonight at the Sommet Center in Nashville. On television, they will air tonight on ABC, starting at 8 PM eastern, 7 PM central.

My husband and I sat down several weeks ago and discussed who we thought would take home the coveted trophies. If you missed our comments back then, here are the links to all three parts:

CMA Predictions with Scott Roland: Part One

CMA Predictions with Scott Roland: Part Two

CMA Predictions with Scott Roland: Part Three

Soon -- after we've recovered from the inevitable sleep-deprivation! -- we'll talk about who took home the awards, who had the best acceptance speech, who wore that dress, and all sorts of tidbits from behind the scenes. In the meantime, enjoy the CMAs!

New Interview at Bluegrass Romance Reviews

This week got comfy in my chair, poured a perfect cocktail, and enjoyed the opportunity to talk with Gracie of Bluegrass Romance Reviews. The questions were unusual -- this was not at all your typical kind of interview. I had such fun doing this!

Thanks, Gracie!
