"The Shadow of Matthew"

I am happy to announce that my short story, "The Shadow of Matthew," is a runner-up in the Oysters & Chocolate Winter Fiction Contest!

This story is very near to my heart, as it was written in tribute to someone very important to me. I actually considered not publishing it, mostly because it cut too close to the bone, and I wondered how I would react when I saw it in print or online. But now that I see it there, I'm glad it is published, after all.

If you have loved and lost, this story is for you.
